Help please. Absolute disaster in current situation as 5 month old galaxy a6 phone has suddenly stopped charging. Away from home and no 02 shops open. Help pls

@Laura-S First thing you need to do is to check the charging port on your phone to see if there is any fluff or dirt clogging it. You should also check the plug you use. Take a look at this link I found as well:

If that doesn't resolve the problem, your next call should be to Samsung support:

As your phone is only 5 months old, it's obviously still under warranty, and normally I would suggest you call O2 customer service, but owing to the current crisis, your chances of getting through are slim, and that should be your last resort:

Because you're away from home, another alternative might be to buy an inexpensive interim phone on Amazon or eBay just to keep you going during the lockdown, but you may have a problem there as well, as most places will only deliver to the address associated with your credit card, although I believe you can designate an alternate address with Amazon.
