Galaxy A70 WiFi & VoLTE Calling Disappeared

Hi,

I recently joined O2 last month and unfortunately have had issues constantly with WIFI calling and VoLTE calling.

I've called up twice to report that WIFI calling disappeared out of my settings and also the VoLTE option was greyed out with no way of changing it.

They have disabled and re-enabled this service twice and it eventually breaks down again and again.

I've tried everything, reset WIFI router, reset network settings, factory reset phone etc.

I've noticed other people having the same issues on different devices, but has anyone had this fixed or found a cause?

My device wasn't purchased from O2 but bought sim free, not that it should make any difference.

O2 have raised a case/ticket but does anyone else have any advice please

Thanks in advance

@JamieB14

Certainly sounds like an account based issue and it may need escalating to the right person to sort it for you.

I'll tag our community managers to see if they can find such a person for you.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Did the gurus actually tell you what was causing the problem? It would be interesting to know so we can pass it on to others with the same issue?

If it wasn't bought from O2 then is it lacking any necessary firmware tweaks to enable these options?

@djbsuffolk My phone wasn't bought directly from O2 and is sim free, but WIFI should still work regardless of that. It seems like it could have been something at O2's end as whatever they have done has fixed the issue for me
