Hi,
I have recently upgraded my iPhone 11 (4G only) to an iPhone 13 Pro (5G). I am using the same sim as was in my iPhone 11 in the new phone but have noticed that I do not get a 5G signal.
Do I need a new sim and/or to activate 5G given my new device? The pay monthly sim only plan I am on (O2 Sim Only Unlimited 12M 20GB) is 5G compatible.
Many thanks for any help!

If you want to use 5G then yes you need to do a sim swap to the new 5G sim card, and you will only get 5G where it is available

Thanks! Went into an O2 shop and my sims were swapped instantly - much quicker than going via the call centre and waiting for the sim to be delivered in the post.
