I dont know if anybody knows the answer, but is it possible to 'freeze' a contract for a number of months? Im going travelling and wont want to take it with me but will happily continue with the contract when i come back?

I spoke to customer services and they told me it has to be for nine months or more. Is this just for normal travels or those deploying on operations?
