I got a text from O2 saying that I would get £10 free allowance to use in the next 30 days for Calls, Texts, and Data.
This was the text: "O2: Hey you. Thanks for being such a fab customer. Have an extra £10 allowance on us when you top up £15 once by 08/01/2013. You can use the extra alowance for calls, text or data in the next 30 days. To stop SMS, call 2220."
My question is does this free allowance include premium rate calls and mobile payment services which usually come out of my normal call credit?

I was also curious about this. I topped up to receive £15 extra credit for use in 2 weeks. I haven't used it much (probably about £2 worth) - so was wondering if I could use some to do one of those text £5 donation things. I'm assuming that means we can't? Shame - as I'd rather give a donation to a worthy cause than just waste it. 😞

It is a shame but you are right unfortuntely, you can't donate any unused credit as it never appears as credit on your phone.
