Fraudulence texts

Hiya I just got a text message from some mobile number saying there couldn't send my bill out could I please check my info so please be careful I don't think it's from O2 I'm wait to chat with them over it

The text says

O2:We were unable to process your latest bill. In order to avoid fees, update your billing information via:

So be careful please

It's a scam. Please delete it and don't click the link. Many customers are receiving this and O2 know about it.

Please edit your post to remove the link so no one will be tempted to click on it.

Yes a scam, lots of them recently.

These texts seem to be happening more and more frequently.

One can only hope those who haven't posted here haven't been conned.
