@BO

Keep trying 202 but all lines are very busy right now.

Fraud should be an option on the IVR.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Just press any of the option buttons until someone answers on one of them. It's the getting through by any means which counts.

Or

You could try Skype on 0800 032 1402 if the usual numbers are busy

Hi there @BO , Sorry to hear about this. 😞 I'd like to help escalate this for you asap so will be contacting you via private message here on the forum shortly.

Just to add some general advice as well - if any of you have entered your O2 account details in a smishing/phishing situation, please change your O2 passwords immediately. Also if you entered any card details, you'll need to inform your bank immediately to let them know that you've entered your card details on a fraudulent website.

Additionally, for awareness of how to recognise these scams, have a look at the newly posted phishing/smishing info topic here.
