Hi,

I joined O2 on Apr 15 yet was charged the full 20 gbp for the month of April. On your website it states first bill would be pro-rated, which clearly didn't happen in my case.

Can you please explain  + refund the overcharged amount.

Thanks,

Tim

You pay a month in advance so after your billing date, you pay after 14 days

The bill is correct @tverheyden

Hi Jonsie,

Appreciate your answer but not sure if this is correct in my case. On my second bill, for the billing period, it says Apr 9 - May 8. Payment is due on May 22.

For the first bill, billing period is up to Apr 9 and I paid Apr 23.

I got a message from O2 on activation of my number on Apr 15.

Not sure if these billing dates make sense. Why would I have to pay anything before Apr 15? Be it in advance or later, doesn't matter.

Tim

@tverheyden

O2 start billing you from the order date as generally your account is active within 24 hours.

If you ordered on the 9th but didn't get activated until the 15th you should call to get the 6 days credited back to your account Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
