Failure of overseas bolt on to work

I have been unable to get data on my overseas bolt on. Despite multiple attempts to sort it out with the gurus, no success. Is this something others have struggled with?

Many people have this problem so a couple of questions

Is t that you have no data?

If so and you have an iphone, change the APN to mobile.o2.co.uk

(you will find this under network settings)

If it's that the O2 Travel Inclusive bolt on isn't working for you, then you need to contact customer service on the free number if outside the Eurozone or on 202 if in the EU. Preferable to call but live chat later this morning if you need to.

Thank-you to both of you. Once I had the number to ring, it was sorted out in less than 5 minutes. One has to reset data in Settings, General, Reset, Reset Network Settings. The phone switches off, and it was working on re-starting.

Quite why Guru chat had been unable to do this despite 7 “chats” is beyond me. Quite why I’ve been charged for 3 days of bolt on “service” is also beyond me. Further conversations will ensue. Again many thanks to you both.

@ROBERT1 Definitely call again to be reimbursed for the extra bolt-on charges. O2 loves charging customers for things they didn't get. If they won't reimburse you, lodge a complaint using Resolver within this link:https://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain
