Hi, I contacted your service centre on Sunday as I was upgrading online and my credit check was declined. There is no reason that it should be declined as my credit score is the maximum it could be. I was due a call back on Monday which never happened. I need to upgrade as my current device stopped working last Friday. My take on this, as when Virgin Mobile did the same, is simply to go elsewhere.

One option is for you to buy a new handset direct from the manufacturer. For example, Samsung and Google both have some really good offers at the moment.
Another option is for you to visit your local O2 retail store and to see if, on a different day, there is a different outcome :-

Same system used in store so outcome will be the same.
