Extra £20 allowance

Two days ago I've received a message from O2:

Miss this and miss out! We'll give you an extra £20 allowance when you top up once by 17/01/2013. You can use the extra allowance for calls, text or data for 21 days.

I did top up £20 yesterday morning but I still haven't received any extra allowance. Could someone tell me what to do now?

As far as I am aware it appears as "virtual credit" which means when you make a chargeable activity such as a call, text, mms or internet connection it will first be taken from you "extra allowance".

To test, just check your balance, send a text, check your balance again.

I can only advise calling CS on 4445 (25p) and asking if its becoming activated.

Somtimes its not instant other times its a virtual allowance so you can only keep track of it by noticing your own normal allowance is going down which would indicate the extra has been used.
