Hi, Yesterday I contacted customer services and took out 2 x sim only contracts. This is simply because my mobile provider - 3 mobile is dropping EU Roaming as included in my contract and will charge in the future when I go abroad. I have just given my 2 x PAK codes to port our numbers to O2 and I wanted to double check regarding O2 roaming. The way I understand it from the O2 website is : when I'm in Europe on holiday, eg in France I can ring any number at home (UK No.) Or any number elsewhere in the Eurozone, eg a local restaurant or accommodation. So, the way it reads is that if I'm let's say in France and I ring a French, Spanish, German number (as they are in the Eurozone) then it's not chargeable as its part of roaming. But the customer services representative is saying that's wrong and I can only ring UK numbers when im on holiday in Eurozone countries and not local euro numbers when I'm in Europe (& he checked with his supervisors) Its very important that I get the correct answer as I've swapped providers for this reason to be able to ring local European numbers when I'm in Europe.

Hi, Jonsie, thank you for the link. What it doesn't specifically say is that the included roaming will simply use my included minutes if I ring local European numbers whilst I'm in Europe, it also doesn't say that I will be charged. I have again telephoned 202 and spoken with another customer services representative and she says that when in the Eurozone eg, France that I can call other Eurozone local numbers eg in France Spain etc free of any charges. So now I have one representative saying I would be charged one saying I wouldn't.......
