Been hanging on the line for ages "they're busy" and want to know the best time to end my contract, my renewal date on my 24mth contract is 26th January, so when is the best date to notify them (30 days and all that) to avoid paying any more than I have to...am I right in assuming if I do it any day now, the 30 days will take me past my renewal date and I will only have to pay "pro rata" any days beyond that up to the 30 days required?

It's the worst time of the year trying to get through to customer service (iphone launches apart!) but persevere. Best time to call is early morning or later in the evenings.
