End of contract

Anonymous

Hey

Just looking for a bit of help with what I need to do/ who I need to speak to.

My contract ends at the end of next month (04/2013). I know that I need to give 30 days notice of intending to exit the contract otherwise it will change to a rolling contract.

What I intend to do is change the tarriff to pay as you go.

Am I able to do this early? Do I need the PUK code? etc etc

If anyone could give me some general guidance regarding the logistics of doing this, it would be much appreciated.

Hi,

No a PUK code is if your sim card is locked out.

http://www.o2.co.uk/puk/

If your meaning a PAC Code then this is only required if you were wanting to move from the O2 Network to another Uk Network and wanted to retain your mobile number.

All you need to do is ring o2 on 202 and ask to be put onto a PAYG account which I would do when your contract date is due to end.

O2 will then let you know what your contractual agreement is and what the final bill will be which will be in your MYo2.

Think about which Payg tariff you want too.

Make sure you activate/Use the sim when you get it and check it is your correct phone number.
