End of 24m contract - when does data cut out?

My contract is up on the 27th September according to the O2 app, which also states my bill arrives in 5 days. Is that bill my final bill, or will my contract continue month by month until I terminate it?

If it is my final bill, is that the cut off point, or do I still get data for the following month as per usual?

I entered the contract with mobilephonesdirect, I don’t know if this affects things? Currently waiting for the new iPhone release, likely to be 1-2 months so I don’t want to start a new contract.

Any info on this would be helpful.

Your contract continues on a rolling monthly basis.

It will not stop unless you cancel it Guide: Cancelling Your Contract

Thanks for the quick response.

 

And so, the payment due in 5 days is for the 25th payment of my contract and not the final 24th payment?

That's correct as you always pay a month in advance.
