Hi. I want to end my contract and no longer have my phone due to an accident. I don’t want to sign to another contract as already gone elsewhere. I’ve been on the app and seem to be going round in circles. Is there an email address I can formally request the cancellation as prefer it in writing rather than speaking on the phone.

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:

When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling,

Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.

Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options

Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.

Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen or Fraud if you have to.

8am is the best time to call

Without the phone you'll need to to contact O2.

When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling.

You can also try saying "Upgrade" or "Fraud" to be connected to an advisor.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.
