Have swapped my SIM card from Apple I Phone to a Samsung 8. It will not let me make any calls says emergency calls only. What do I need to do. Thanks

Do you mean you are using the same sim card or have you swapped to a different sim card?
If a different sim, you need to wait for the process to complete (keep rebooting the phone), but if the same sim, try it back in the iPhone and if it works, the Samsung is faulty.
