I received a text message from O2 some weeks ago informing me that my tariff had been reviewed and that as of mid October, I'd be on O2 Refresh Unlimited 15GB. Today I've received an email from mycare informing me that this change is now "all sorted". Who are mycare and is this legitimate?

@Deborah55

That is o2 who is emailing you and yes, it is genuine.

@Deborah55

MyCare used to deal with late payments and unlock codes. (explained in this thread https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Apple/My-care/m-p/965933/highlight/true#M143282

As far as I am aware its genuine.

However, give O2  a call to check. All numbers in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

The vast majority of emails from O2 come from "mycare" @Deborah55
