The only thing I can think is that the offer on the S7 edge had finished by October 16, but I don't think it had.

Thank you I when in a few after to do the same and they said it had swapped to a Sony or a iPhone 7 so I got the iPhone if that's help you

No, I can't see any specific Sony devices mentioned, although I'm sure they were at some point.

The only phones I can see mentioned between 10th Sept 16 and 25 May 17 are iPhone SE, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus
