Hi All
I have a 30 day rolling contract with O2 which I have been a customer with for about 8 years now.
I have had a customer service rep from O2 on the phone to me tonight offering to upgrade my contract
He said that he would give me 300 mins, 500 meg internet and unlimited texts for only £17.00 a month on a 24 month contract with a new phone Nokia 201 Black
I have looked into this and find that the rolling 30 day contract at the moment is better than this offer as i get unlimited o2 to o2 calls
How do I cancel this as I thought I was dealing with O2 direct and not the carphone warehouse or E2 Save Mobile
But i dont want to cancel my 30 day contract
Any help would be very gratefully accepted
Have had chat with O2 online and have said they will pass it onto retention team. What does this mean?

The retention team is the team that try and stop you from leaving o2 by offering better deals, discounts etc

You've got to go with what's best for you why they would think you would take a worse deal is beyond me

That's usually the case. These companies are a bit naughty as they are not supposed to cold call customers to upgrade, the info provided should only be used if the customer approaches them for an upgrade.....
Yeah had a few calls myself when my 12 month simplicity ran out I got quite rude with them in the end and said if I wanted to upgrade I know how to do it
