I want to order an e-SIM pack for my current number. I am currently abroad so cannot visit a store.  So how do I do this?

Pointless as you won't be able to activate it unless in UK.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

A corrective for MI5: I live in Switzerland. Have just received my e-sim in the post (forwarded from UK address), followed installation instructions and all works fine, so both o2 e-SIM and Swiss physical SIM cards .

You might want to correct the solution?

Well done and thanks for the update.
Something has obviously been changed for the better.

Just be aware of the fair use policy on EU roaming.

I can confirm what @WillyWonka says about being able to activate an e-sim whilst outside the UK.

My brother, also an O2 customer, activated his e-sim from inside the Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa - I sent him a photo of the e-sim pack, which he then printed.

It was needed to make the standard SIM slot available for a second (local) SIM.
