On 17th July my existing O2 pay monthly SIM only contract comes to an end. I have just ordered another pay monthly SIM only O2 contract through TalkTalk.  I want use my existing number with this new contract. Can I set up a duplicate account to do this? I realise that I will have to pay for both contracts until 17th July but I want to ensure I only pay for the new one after that date.

You need to call customer service on 202 and ask them to migrate your number to the new contract, however, this will turn off your old SIM immediately. You cannot have 2 SIM cards running the same number, so plan your switchover to suit your needs.

Currently using:
OnePlus 6 (O2 & Sfr), Z3 Tablet (Three UK), iPhone 8+ (EE)
