Dropped iPhone 6S and cracked screen - I have O2 insurance but have never claimed

I dropped my iphone 6S and have cracked the screen. I hold O2 insurance but have never claimed, aside from filling ou the form, how long would a repair take, how do I proceed as I really cannot afford to be without my phone.

If you call customer services http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus they will go through the claim form with you and submit it.

If all goes to plan, it is a 24 hour turnaround to get a replacement phone.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@michelle_barnes Best time to call customer service is 8-8.30 am to avoid long wait on hold time.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
