Double payment

I missed my direct debit as my wages didn’t go in till after 10am so I paid through o2 app then I realise on my banking app it says my bill was paid but when I paid through app it now says -£10 pending will I get this back

It will stay on your account as a credit and go towards your next bill

You can ask O2 to refund you if necessary but by the time you get it your next bill will probably be due @Martinf88

If it stays as a pending transaction it will be returned to your cleared funds automatically in 4 to 5 days.

Sounds like the manual payment failed to go through but check it again now the system has had a chance to update.

Just so you are aware some banks will keep trying to take the Direct Debit till at least 3pm on the afternoon it is due.
