Yes you need drivers license, passport, utility bill and bank account.

Passport will do along with others forms of ID and proof of who you are.

Not sure you need them if you apply over the phone or online but they will credit check you.

I don't have a passport / driving licence / utility bill (online) ... ... ... yet I was accepted for a contract phone in Skipton O2 store ... I do have a local bank's card ... & ... a bus pass with my photo on though

It's been some time ago since I first went to O2 ... I was with Orange att with an old Nokia phone = signal from Orange was not great in the town so I went with a big name I knew = O2 & a store in town where I could walk in & speak face to face with a member of staff ... now on first name terms with Stavros the store's long time manager ... = ... happy bunny
