Do we get to keep our old phone when we upgrade?

My wife and I can now upgrade our CPW contracts if we want to on the O2 upgrade via the My O2 app, but it doesn't seem to state if we keep our current handsets or if we have to give them up to O2 as part of the deal..

Could anyone confirm either way please?

We have a Samsung S9 and a Huawei Mate 20 Pro currently but we are thinking about getting something else...

It's harder too that we cannot view phones because of the lockdown so we can't even look at screens, sizes etc properly.

Thanks folks.

Best regards (and stay safe).

I work for O2 but my comments and opinions posted here are solely my own and do not reflect those of Telefonica"

Thank you for your quick reply my friend, much appreciated.

We might go for the S20 range.

Hopefully the reviews I've seen are accurate.

Thanks again.
Paul.

Now we have our new phones and copied everything across, do we send the SWAP message on 20220 on the old phone, or the new phone?

On the old phone and once it loses connection keep rebooting the new phone

But you may be better just using your old sims as the tariff changes on the system
