Do home delivery require ID? For a new phone contract

Hello I just want to ask someone something, Do anyone know if I need ID for a home delivery for a new phone contract, Because someone stole my wallet and I had everything inside like passport atd I just have credit cart at the moment . thank you

No ID required but the DPD driver did take a photo of me one time I had a phone delivered.

Also no delivery driver will place an item directly into your hands. They will ring the bell and leave it at the door. They should wait until you answer and stand 2 meters away.

You can also dedicate a safe place for deliveries. (Mine is in my meter cupboard)

DPD just delivered to me. Stood back and took a photo of me with parcel in my hand having first left it on the doorstep and moved back away from the door.
