I have just received a text and emails informing me that my order has gone through - I have not ordered anything. Is this some sort of scam and do I need to do anything?

@smc Updating people from the old system to the new 360 accounting system.

We get loads of posts similar to yours as it is rather unsettling message

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

I just got texts and emails too. 

Checked my o2 account on website and it is showing an order but looks like is tariff I was on so assuming o2 are just updating something.

You need to contact O2.

Thanks, after I replied to this thread I remembered about the change of accounting system!

So I rang O2 on 202 and eventually got through to a human being who told me that there is nothing to worry about.  Good to know.

I was not aware of the change to the billing system, does anyone know when we were notified?
