Disable tethering

Hello, I am looking at sim only contracts for my child, I want the option to disable tethering at carrier level but keep mobile data for an iphone. Is this something o2 can do, disable tethering at account level on request.

Hi Spenny,

 

I did but it seemed like the live chat advisor didn't know much and just said to disable on the phone where it can be easily turned back on. Was thinking maybe someone in the community has direct experience with this feature.

Customer Services cant disable Tethering, the best thing to look at is some of the parental control software that you can install on the device. 

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK
