I pay my bill in 2 parts no idea but O2 think there clever doing this

They take the airtime

Then the device.

Both from the same account.

They have stopped taking the device money but still take the airtime.

Now they sent me a stupid snotty letter saying I'm in default.

Your in default.  You don't apply the same time as you take the other money. I'm not obliged to chase you and pay you. Simple.

@DCVL

I'd call payment manage to sort this out before they slap a default on you.

Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

It's paid in 2 parts because the device plan is a regulated credit agreement of a fixed amount and the airtime is variable.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@DCVL It has nothing to do with O2 being clever. You're on a Refresh contract: How does O2 Refresh work?

If you don't call customer service to report this issue and get it resolved you will find yourself with credit rating problems which will affect more than just your phone bill.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
