Given current reduced phone contacts, I was going to change my DD online. I found a link to change DD details but a message says to contact O2 directly if it is a different bank, so my new a/c and sort code is not enough? Can anyone answer this or wqill I have to call O2 customer services?

Thank you.

Mark

If you are changing the bank details, you can do this via My O2 https://www.o2.co.uk/myo2

under Manage My Details.

You won't be able to change the date though.

The website says to contact them if it is a different bank which it is. Previously when spoken over the phone the only wanted sort code and a/c so I am no clearer if I can just change these details and it will still work without calling them.

You shouldn't need to call them for that.

Account number and sort code should be all they need.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
