Everything is taking longer due to the lockdown. Call centres and social distancing means limited staff to handle all the queries. Patience needed I'm afraid.

Tried 0800 902 0217 and this didn’t work. You get told “bye” when you actually think you might be getting somewhere! Very frustrating. Gonna try other 3 numbers suggested next, thanks.

Ok so tried 0800 587 4005 and got a person!!! It was truly magnificent. However, I haven’t paid my device plan yet because there were hardly any people there and they were in the queue to access people who could take card details! They’re calling back tomorrow to sort this out with me. The guy I got through to was magnificent. However, I did have to mention that I’m a shielder in the 1.5 million who can’t go anywhere for three months and that I’m self-employed. This might have helped me at this time. Thanks anyway Jonsie! Really great to sort this problem, hopefully!

Call came 30 minutes later Jonsie, today and it’s all sorted! Even managed to do an upgrade having cleared my device plan and I’m now paying £10 less for a Sim only deal. You’ve been brilliant, thank you.
