Delivery of new phone

Anonymous

Hi,

I have just placed an order for a new phone contract online. I chose the phone to be delivered on thursday as I will not be at home until then. The order details say 'next day delivery'. I was wondering what will happen if the phone is dispatched earlier and no one is at home to take the delivery.

Thank you.

Oh I agree with that and if you get on with your neighbours all well and good but if anything is left with mine without prior arrangement I haven't received it it's quite fun when the couriers have to come and collect it and re deliver

I agree, a £600 phone comes to me, nobody else.

In Bob's case the courier phoned to get permission, even then they aren't following the terms of their contract with O2.

Ordinarily if you're out you don't get your phone.

With the security problems we all have to contend with, "Leave it with a neighbour" isn't good enough.
