On 5th December I took out a 12-month sim-only contract online. It said that the estimated delivery was the next day, but as it was a Saturday, I assumed that by Monday, my sim would have arrived. It is now 11th December and I have still not received my sim card. I have contacted o2 but they have said that my sim was dispatched on the 6th, so this is a royal mail issue. I have now a week without being to use my mobile. Can anyone suggest when my sim will arrive?

It's probably due to Christmas staffing levels at Royal Mail @Lilly
You need to keep trying customer service

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:
If you call 4445, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.
Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen or Fraud if you have to.

Customer service at least considers it lost if 3-4 days late

My son works for ParcelForce. He said they can't cope due to so many people shopping online re the pandemic.

One of my friends had a parcel delivery at 6am on Tuesday. She was so frightened at the knock at the door she wouldn't get out of bed. Found a note posted through letterbox to say she had to pick it up from the sorting office!
