Daughter's school trip to Russia

Hi, my daughter has a blackberry on monthly contract.

She is going to Moscow for 7 days with her school. I would like to know the cheapest way for her to call and text home while she is there. She doesn't need to download data or use BBM-just wants to check-in and let us know that all is well. I am thinking that it may be cheapest to use an old phone with a new sim card?

Any advice?

Hi,

If your daughters phone is unlocked to all networks then it would be the cheapest option to get her to buy a local sim whilst there and use that.

If its not unlocked then use this form to do so.

And just to add what a lucky person she is to sample Russia.
