I called in today with data issues. They said that they have fixed it. I pay for unlimited data yet I’ve just had an email telling me that it’s been changed (without permission) to 30GB of data???? Why has this happened

That shouldn't happen without informing you @Andy171 

O2 do reserve the right to change terms but they must inform you and allow you to leave your contract without penalty if you deem the change unfair

At this point your first option should be to call again and ask for an explanation.

It's possible that it could simply be an error on the part of the adviser you spoke to.
