What’s the cheapest way of only using data in Jamaica I’ve heard Wi-fi is slow
I don’t need to send or receive calls what’s the best option
i only need to use internet to download music and video

Just to add..Wifi really is the cheapest way. You may find data is throttled if you use O2 Travel as I have shown above. Make sure you activate O2 travel before you go
If you've got a Pay Monthly sim, text O2TRAVELto 23336. If you've got a Pay As You Go sim, text TRAVELON to 21300.
It can take up to 24 hours for O2 Travel to be applied to your account.

@Percival Your WiFi connection will be as fast or as slow as the one you're connected to. I'm sure they're not all slow. If you want to avoid data charges, make sure you switch off your mobile data in settings. If you want to use a local sim, make sure your phone is unlocked before you leave. It's always more difficult to do when you're abroad.

1 is you phone unlocked ?
2 as above wifi is the cheapest way forward if free access.
3 if answer to 1 is yes then local sim option
But remember to ensure your phone is in flight mode all the time as many things can trigger the £4.99 daily charge
