Data charges while abroad

How can you be billed 'charges whilst abroad' that are identified as data charges whilst abroad (Morrocco) when data roaming is turned off for the entire trip and we are only talking 7p over a four day period.

I dont understand where they come from I sent no texts or phone calls apart from when on wifi.

 

Anybody else had this?

If you sent only 1 text then that will still activate O2 Travel

You need to have mobile data off completely, not just roaming data.
Also, if you turned phone off and on, small amounts of data can be used when the phone registers on the network.
