Data bolt on

How long from when ordering a data bolt on, does it take to be active.  When I tried to order online, it said it would be active from my next billing period, which is 3 weeks away.  I need it sooner.  Is this possible?

Doing it through My O2 does mean you have to wait until the next billing date as the system is automated.

Contact customer service via your mobile and they will normally make the change for you at midnight on the same day or within 24 hours. Best not to use online chat but it is there as an option for you.

My data bolt on becomes active when the data allowance in my normal monthly tariff becomes exhausted.

Maybe it is just my account, but I can't find a way of adding a data bolt on for more than the useless 500 MB I've already got - I'd like to know the price for 1 or 2 GB.

Any clues?

Thanks. I think I'll need to call customer services as from within the My O2 "My tariff & Bolt Ons", I can only select The Basics (100 MB) for £3 and nothing more.

Your bolt on options are dependent on which tariff you are on.
What is shown in your "My O2" is what's available to you.
