Hi,
Been trying to work out why I can't share my 15Gb Refresh phone data with a Pay Monthly tablet I recently added to my account ordered from O2's website. Is it maybe as the tablet data plan was only 500Mb and that needs to be increased to allow me to share data with it?

The tablet / data tariff cost is £8.50 per month and comes with 100 texts and nothing else.

In order to change to that tariff, you'll need to cancel the current one and start a new tablet data sharing tariff.

You'll need to call customer service.

When it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.

Thanks.

So is it saying my tablet tariff needed to be different in order for it to share data from my phone? When I try to click in to view/change it it says I can't do that until after my next bill.

So I tried a couple of times with this.
1st time the rep didn't really understand what I wanted to do and the call mysteriously dropped.
2nd time Cancellations gave a flat out NO unless I wanted to send the tablet back to cancel it and buy another one from a store when they open again. Totally obstructive. That was the ONLY way to do it.
O2 don't seem to care at all about their customers.
I give up with it.

Sad reflection on the state of affairs currently I'm afraid.
