How can I stop extra data bolt ons being added by ringing the o2 topup/bolt on line? I currently pay my daughters bill and the contract is in my name. We never used to have this problem as only I could previously add bolt ons via my o2 but now she seems to be able to add bolt ons via the top up line without ANY authorisation

@Arthur85

There is no way to stop this happening at all.

I suggest it would be cheaper to change the tariff permanently to one with more data if your daughter is constantly running out.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Would a spend cap of £0 work? As there is currently a £10 cap on the account.

No, they are exempt from a spend cap.

Guide: Spend caps on O2
