DON'T BUY IPHONE5 FROM O2 !!!

Anonymous
Not applicable

Yesterday, i processed an upgrade to an iphone and subsequently made a deposit payment and accepted a 24 month contract.

There was no indication of how i would receive this iphone5. Within 2 hours of my order, i received an email from 02 to say that it would be delivered the next day within 8.30 and 12.30. Stayed in all morning - nothing!!

Phoned O2 at 1pm, to be told "wait a little longer"

Phoned O2 at 2pm, to be told "our text may say that but it means 8.30 to 6pm"

Phoned O2 at 5pm, to be told "your parcel has been returned to depot but they won't give a reason" she said she will keep ringing to get an answer and call me back.

No phone call as promised, so i rang O2 at 7pm, to be told the parcel has been returned BUT UK Mail cannot give a reason.

As i was promised the iphone5 today, i have now cancelled the order and have to wait until Friday before i get a refund!!

Please don't buy phones pver the internet!!!

I just fail to understand people who start quoting contractual laws because a delivery company lets him down. As MI5 says, it's only a phone! OK the guy has every right to cancel, that's his choice but to then whinge and tell everyone not to buy online strikes me as ridiculous.

......just saying:smileywink:

You could be right, on the other version we tracked down one with at least 10 different user names, I haven't seen any sign of them on here yet!

I'm glad someone agrees with me on this!!

O2 made a statement that it will be delivered and it hasn't, legally you should not make statements like this.

@Topcat

Its not a legal issue so stop trying to use that, Your phone was not delivered by UK mail. O2 did everything that can to get the phone to you. UK mail have said they tried to deliver the phone and left a card. Your annoyance and argument should be with them.

You have cancelled your order but still think it is ok to come on the O2 forum to have a pop at them when they can not defend themselves.

Get over it, get yourself to a shop and get the phone you want.

All the time you have spent on this forum over this issue would have been better spent on the phone with UK mail.

A question, was you given a tracking number? Just remember we all know the answer to this question.
