Hi I applied for an O2 contract phone last night online and was accepted, providing I paid a £275 security deposit (have some adverse credit issues from a few years back, so happy enough to pay this).
I don’t get paid until tomorrow so planning on ordering it then, however how do I get the previous offer back? Order still all showing in my basket but no mention of security deposit, and if I go through to checkout it takes me to the bit to put my details in again for the credit check? Does it not save the previous credit check from 1 day ago? Don’t want to go through another credit check, unsure what to do?

thanks in advance

You will go through the credit check again, which may decline the application, and add a hard search to your credit file.  Also the basket times out after a certain period of time, i think 24 hours.

This is how all applications which don't complete are treated across all companies that offer regulated credit.

You can always reach out to the Sales Team on 0800 081 0255 and see if there is anything they can do, but I wouldn't hold out much hope.

You need to wait 30 days before applying again to avoid a refusal.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
