Contracts for my children

We previously had contracts for our children with Vodafone all under my wife's name, we looked to change to O2 and found a deal via MobilePhonesDirect.

My wife ordered 3x contracts with PAC codes. Her's was approved but the other 2 rejected.

I placed an order for my daughters which was approved after 24 hours, I have just placed an order for my son but it was rejected, apparently by O2 within 15 mins?!

Why can't we get more than one account? How do I get my son his phone? We have a good credit score.

Anyone got any tips?

No one knows how O2 decide unfortunately.

You could write to credit referrals and see if you get a reply:

I have now sat down in an O2 store to get a contract, along with proof of electoral roll registration and an Excellent Experian credit score - but rejected again and not able to find a work around.

I have contacted the credit team who said they haven't rejected the application, it didn't fail on a credit check but the 'back office team' rejected it.  They forwarded the contact to the back office team but still no response from them.

This is so infuriating, my son pesters me every day, but no one seems to be able to help me.

Anyone from O2 monitoring this who can help look into this for me, or any ideas how to escalate?  O2 seem to provide the best network coverage in our area, others are very patchy, otherwise I would go with someone else.
