My contract ends in May 2019. However, does anyone know if it possible to pay off my phone now and end the contract earlier than planned?

Thanks!

Yes you can pay off the device plan and give 30 days notice to end the air time. Then you are free to leave O2 or upgrade as you wish.

Yes, you can always pay early.
If you have a refresh contract, just pay off the device plan, but if a standard contract, you need to pay your monthly tariff price multiplied by the number of months remaining, minus vat.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
