Hey everyone,

I am finally coming to the end of my 24 months contract and so the trials begin with what new contract do I go for this time.

I will not be looking for a phone and sim deal as I have been one of the lucky few to have got an iP6+ directly from Apple (I do feel for all those waiting :smileysad:) but I am going to be looking for a SimOnly deal this time.

Just looking for advice, help really. Wondering how much data do people use per month with 4G now? Is the 5Gb plenty or should I get more?

I live in an area where I am lucky to get 2 bars of 2G signal at the present yet with my job I am travel the whole of the south of UK so I will get 4G a fair amount. Is it worth getting 5Gb or more?

I have been trialling, since I got the iP6+, Three network in my old iP5 phone and seeing a wide difference is signal reception. Right now, iP6+ with O2 shows 'No signal' yet iP5 with Three showing 4bars Crazy

You can see my dilema Confused

Any and all information will be gratefully recieved Cheers

I went for 8gb on "just in case" basis, but in reality I only use 3-5gb a month.

I would think 5gb would be ample but it depends on what you want to pay. It's always better to have the allowance available if you need it rather than buying a bolt on. Personally I have never used more than 3gb.

@jonsie THat is why I am tempted to get a 30day O2 contract at 5Gb and see how it goes for a while

That would be my choice too. Now that 4G has finally come to my area I will be forced to change from the legacy unlimited data Simplicity I have at the moment which unfortunately does not include 4G. Shame as I've had it for 6 years now though I'm tempted to keep it for the backup phone I have.
