How on earth do you cancel a contract, when the phone is broken and you no longer need it or its number. Nothing on the website to help you.

@Dalmatian You take the sim card out of your broken phone, put it in one that works, and follow the guide here: Cancelling your contract - An updated guide - O2 Community
Barring that, you call customer service: Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support or call into an O2 store if you're in England and have one nearby.
