My 3 year contract is due to end soon and my final payment date is on the 11th October.
Does anyone know if this means my data plan will expire on the 11th October or will I have 30 days (or till the end of the month?) of data before I effectively need to arrange a new contract?

Your Contract will be in two parts. One phone payment Two your calls and data.
The calls and data element will keep running until you either upgrade or cancel.
