Contract and sim change

I switched to a sim only contract 3 days ago. It was done in an o2 store. The guy did a sim swap as I have an issue with voicemail he thought to eliminate the sim as the cause. Since then I can't receive calls and texts nor have I data. When I call my number from another phone it says number not recognised. Online chats on Saturday suggested the new sim was faulty. They reactivated my old sim. After more than 24hrs I was able to make calls and texts but not receive. It still said number not recognised. This morning I have nothing. Can anyone please help!

Go in store and get another SIM swap and wait at least 24 hours for all services to migrate across. 

Reboot your phone several times during the process.
