Hey community in search of some advice.
Since taking out my contract phone I've had god knows how many spam messages received. Just recently I got logged out of a social media account and used my mobile number to reset my password. It turned out that the mobile number I have is linked with someone else's Facebook account and I was subsequently logged into Thier account no fault of mine. The number I have been given it is apparent belongs to someone else and I am receiving all Thier correspondence. My question is this ..has anyone else had a similar issue with the service ? And is this to be accepted in terms of contract ?

Mobile numbers are all recycled otherwise there would be insufficient numbers to go round.
When a number is disconnected it is quarantined for six months or so before reissue.
Sadly, this can happen from time to time and the only way really is to change your number
